All employees, contractors, management and partners are expected to uphold these principles and conduct themselves with honesty, professionalism and accountability.
We act honestly and transparently in all business dealings and professional relationships.
We prioritise our clients' best interests and promote responsible and informed trading.
We treat clients, partners and employees fairly, without favouritism, discrimination or bias.
We operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and recognised industry standards.
We protect the privacy and confidential information of clients, employees and stakeholders.
We take responsibility for our actions and recognise their impact on our clients and the organisation.
All employees and representatives must comply with applicable local, national and international laws and regulations, including financial regulations and anti-money laundering requirements. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse for non-compliance.
Employees must avoid situations in which personal interests conflict, or could appear to conflict, with the interests of Today Markets or its clients. Any actual or potential conflict must be disclosed promptly to management.
All applicable AML and CTF policies and procedures must be followed. Suspicious activity must be reported to the appropriate Compliance function in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory obligations.
Employees must not trade, or advise others to trade, on the basis of confidential or non-public information obtained through their employment or professional role.
All marketing materials and sales activities must be accurate, fair, clear and not misleading. Clients must be provided with appropriate information regarding the risks associated with leveraged and CFD trading.
Client relationships must be built on trust, professionalism, confidentiality and responsible engagement. We are committed to ensuring that clients are treated fairly and that appropriate processes are followed throughout the client relationship.
Client information must be kept confidential and used only for legitimate business purposes. Sharing client information without appropriate authorisation is strictly prohibited.
Employees involved in client onboarding must support complete and accurate KYC processes, including the appropriate verification of client identity and information required under applicable procedures.
Today Markets does not encourage excessive or irresponsible trading. Clients should be made aware of leverage, margin requirements and the potential for losses associated with leveraged financial products.
Employees must maintain a high level of professionalism in all internal and external interactions. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Employees are expected to remain informed about relevant industry practices, regulations and internal policies through appropriate training and professional development.
Company assets, systems and resources must be used responsibly and primarily for legitimate business purposes. Unauthorised use, misuse or tampering may result in disciplinary action.
Today Markets encourages the reporting of suspected unethical, illegal or inappropriate behaviour. Individuals who raise concerns in good faith will be protected from retaliation and their identity will be kept confidential to the extent possible and appropriate.
Violations of this Code may result in appropriate disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment or contractual relationships, legal action or reporting to relevant authorities where required.
Suspected breaches should be reported through the appropriate internal channels and referred to the relevant Compliance or management function.
This Code is overseen by the appropriate Compliance and Ethics governance function, which is responsible for its implementation, interpretation and periodic review.
